Village of Brownville, NY Anticipated Water Line Construction Schedule
2025 **This timeline is a tentative schedule and subject to change. September Bridge Street Maple Street Rice Street October Patrician Lane St. Lawrence Avenue November St. Lawrence Avenue continued December Watertower Drive Pike Street Remaining village streets will resume in the spring of 2026. Residents can expect to see equipment, piping, and other construction materials throughout the village beginning in late July 2025. Construction is scheduled to officially begin on August 4, 2025, starting on St. Lawrence Avenue West, Franklin Street, and Watertower Drive. Crews will then move on to Potter Street and Warren Street. Work will continue throughout the Village through December 22, 2025, pause for the winter, and resume in late March 2026. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Please be patient and expect traffic delays as crews work throughout the Village. We will do our best to notify residents in advance of any water service disruptions or construction happening directly in front of driveways. As part of the upcoming water project, the Village’s engineers (BCA), and the DPW will be taking pre-construction photos to document property conditions. They will begin on East and West Main Street and continue throughout the project area, ensuring the most recent condition of each property is recorded. This helps guarantee that all properties are restored to their pre-construction condition or better by the contractors once the work is completed.
If you see someone taking photos of your property, please do not be alarmed—they are simply documenting existing conditions for this project.
