Neighbors of Watertown, INC. is currently conducting outreach to towns and villages within Jefferson County. Their Owner-Occupied Home Rehabilitation program facilitates the distribution of government grants to homeowners to rehabilitate their homes and improve overall housing conditions within the county. They are currently encouraging homeowners in our service area to apply, particularly veterans, individuals with disabilities, senior citizens, single parents, and those who are otherwise low-income and in need of assistance. Below, you will find copies of the brochures and application.
Due to the deterioration of the Brown Mansion, the back porch has been closed off for the safety of our residents. Please do not tamper with these barricades and please keep children from climbing on the pillars. The Village is still in the process of obtaining funding in order to repair these issues and to keep the Mansion safe and in good repair for our residents. Please be patient with us, as this funding does take some time.
BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE The Beautification Committee is made up of Village residents who volunteer their time to improve the appearance of the Village by planting and caring for flowers throughout the Village. Families, students and residents of all ages are welcome to volunteer. Any amount of time that you can volunteer if fully appreciated. If you have any questions, would like to become a part of the committee, or would like to donate, please contact the Village Office for more information at 315-782-7650. If you would like to make a flower donation, please contact the Village office.
