Due to the disrepair and deterioration of the Brown Mansion, the Village has made the difficult decision to cancel the Summer Recreation Program for the 2025 season. The areas affected include the basement and back porch, which is the essential location of our program. We have blocked these areas off for the safety of our residents. The Village is working with BCA Engineers and has applied for grants to help repair the Mansion so that the recreation program may continued in the future. While grants do take time to obtain, we are hopeful that we can receive enough funds so that the cost is not a burden to our tax payers. We highly encourage citizens to attend one of our monthly board meetings to ask questions or voice any concerns.
